Stihl 290 chainsaw locked up. What do you think is wrong?

I was cutting a stump and the chain jumped half way off making it very tight. I took the chain off and now the saw will not turn over.

Pull the spark plug make sure the chain brake is OFF i highly doubt the saw seized unless you fouled up the fuel mix but my family has been arborist for decades and all we use is stihl saws i highly doubt any mechanical problems are the cause most likely the chain brake is the issue but i can guarantee the crank shaft is NOT bent

Might have bent the crank shaft. Now it's jammed. Certainly, if you can't turn the engine (with or without the chain) then there's something seriously wrong with the engine.

make sure you didn't accidentally actuate the guard lock.
