Not at all. No blood relation. Hell, I dated a woman for 2 years. Found out half-way through that we were 4th cousins. Hell, we already had sex. Oh well.

No it's not bad. Even if she was not a step cousin, but a real cousin, it's still not bad. Don't worry about it.

A step cousin is not related by blood so it is no problem.  Even blood cousins in same states are OK.
