I am a Canadian with a Canadian motorcycle license. I was thinking of coming to Europe for a few months in a few years and ride around the continent.

Can I legally buy a motorcycle, have the proper legal requirements for it, even if I am not a resident?

How?

Yes you can. Insurance will be a lot more difficult with a none European Driving license. You will need an address to register it to and where any documents are sent.
