We've had some sort of bee in our driveway for a while. We could never quite find their hive, though, and they have never bothered us. But now that it's warm the bees have moved. Only they aren't in such an out of the way spot any more. They are right in the middle of the place where my dog goes potty at. I assume they're trying to make a new hive. Is it too late to discourage them from staying there? How should I get them to move?

Some hornets nest in the ground. Not the best critter in a bad location.
If they are foraging bees, there may be something sweet on the ground they are taking as nectar, a piece of crushed fruit will do that.
You might have a bee keeper identify them, and if nesting, could remove them for you.
If nesting, just don't get to close or pose a threat to the nest. That could provoke them to sting.

If they're native bees, leave them alone.
If they're wasps or hornets, they will be a major issue when you're trying to do anything in that area.
