If I delete the back up for an old phone will it delete everything on that phone and anything that was moved to my new one?

Got a new phone recently and now my icloud is telling me it's almost full. Will deleting my old backup affect things that were moved to my new phone? My new phone has a back up now but some of the stuff on my new phone was transferred from my old phone. I don't want to loose everything but I also don't want to spend money for more space. what else can I do to make more space?

No, deleting a backup won't remove anything from any of your devices. All it does is make the backup unavailable for restoring anything. Since you have a backup of your new phone, you can delete the backup of the old phone if you want.
