So food was much better, natural and more wholesome back in the old days?

When there were no regulations and rotting meat was coated with borax and dairy products mixed with formaldehyde? It must have been so much better though, because it was sold at markets by local farmers and small businesses instead of big bad Walmart.

I,m not sure what point you are trying to make but it seems as if you are suggesting that people coaim food was better in the past than it is nowadays.

I've never heard anyone suggest that. I can remember food in the UK from the 1960s onwards and I don't think that, generally, food has been better than it is today.
