How easy to use is the Move to IOS app?

I am switching from Android to the iPhone SE. I have heard about this app that allows you to move your Android data (contacts, etc) over to your iPhone. How easy is it to use and can I keep some of my purchased apps without having to re-pay for them?

The app will move music, contacts, message history, camera photos and videos, web bookmarks, mail accounts, calendars, wallpaper, and DRM-free songs and books. If you paid for an app in Google Play, you'd probably have to pay for it again on iOS.
