Why aren't more digital cameras modular as something like a Hasselblad? Why do we have to buy a whole new camera to upgrade the sensor?
Do you think it's just a marketing thing, like ordering a meal at McDonald's is cheaper than buying just the cheeseburger thus more or less forcing the consumer to buy more than they want or need?
I get that there's a control that needs to go along with a sensor but Hasselblad, Mamiya and PhaseOne design for all this, why don't Nikon, Canon etc?
