Has anyone had to decide what to do with an artist's work after he has passed?

If the artist is well-known then a museum or gallery might be interested. Personally I would want my family to share out any pictures or sculptures to whoever wanted them and incinerate the rest.

A friend, who works with a charity that uses art for therapy, told me that she is organising a sale of a recently dead artist's work to support the charity, that might be an option....Show more
