We can't be together over the summer and going to different places in the fall. Do you think he'll still want me the way he did before after the summer apart? Should I expect faithfulness or that he'll move on?

Of course you cannot expect him to be faithful to you, without a long term commitment . Because you will be "geographically undesirable,  because your lives are going in different directions, and because he appears to have a strong, healthy sex drive, you can probably count on one or both of you moving on as the natural course of events.
