Do you believe Trump campaign explanation for plagiarism? First, they blame Clinton, now this?
If this had been the initial explanation, it would seem credible. But, when Trump's main campaign adviser tried half a dozen other explanations, this one still seems contrived. When in doubt, they blamed Hillary Clinton which is default position for Trump campaign.

They were probably taken by surprise by this charge of plagiarism which it is not. It is not plagiarism since Michele Obama is not the author of her speech and it is not copyrighted. Furthermore, parts of political speeches are often taken from other people. There is nothing wrong here. They only blame Hillary since it was someone in her campaign who went to the trouble of looking up every word of Mrs. Trump's speech and finding one that was similar. Who would bother to do that but Hillary who is jealous of Melania.
Not for a second. This is my truf --- Iam a professional writer. I read the relevant portions of both texts side by side.
This one of the most blatant cases of plagiarism I have ever seen in almost 20 years of serious academic and freelance writing.. And there is no room for dooubt in this case -- it is open and shut.
BTW: the BS about "common words and values" spouted by a Trump spokesperson in utter nonsense -- those things have absolutely nothing to do in any way with the definition of plagiarism .
Melanija appeared on national TV before the speech and said she wrote the speech she was going to give at the RNC. She said she stayed awake part of the night writing it and practicing saying it.
Now they claim someone else wrote it. That pretty much sums up Melanija as a liar. Either she lied during the interview, or she is lying now.
