I was thinking of buying this watch, but I'm not sure, because it only costs about 7 pounds and I don't understand why. Is it so bad? Or can you tell from the listing if there is some sort of a trick?

I'm going to assume Curren is a made up brand by some obscure Chinese company. If Curren is a well known brand that sells them for much higher prices then you can be pretty sure it is fake. If it is as I suspect a made up brand then the watch will be noticeably bad quality at that price. Expect the finish to peel off, it to potentially stop working after a fairly short period of time, it to scratch or get damaged easily and even to fall apart. Just play it safe and get a Casio for a bit more.

Probably just fake and they will end up sending you a watch that LOOKS like that, but the materials used will be like plastic and cheap metal etc.
