They are probably made by the same Chinese company that makes MK, Guess, Prada, Police and others. The only difference is you are not paying for a CEO that makes 10 million a year.
When you go to the store and buy something for say $10, $5 pays the executive board members, off the top before any of the bills are paid. If the item is some alleged, "designer: brand, about 70% of the retail price goes to the executives, and promotion before the bills are paid.
When I say "bills" I mean rent, electric, etc.
Take for example G-Shock. The watches cost anywhere from $65 to $3000 depending on the model. Some are exactly same as Casio models, that only cost $30. Why? Casio is paying rappers each $10 million a year to wear G-Shock. Casio owns G-Shock. The watches are made in the same factory for about the same price. I bet even the $500 models costs less than $15 to make. But you are paying for the name.
