Does my 11 year old need a minor work permit to act?

She wants to get into acting and I realized that on a lot of jobs for younger kids they needed a work permit and it asks if I have one on Actors Accees. I looked it up for the minor work permit in Texas and all it says is for ages 14-17. Does she need one?

As the only way that an 11-year-old would be able to get any real auditions is through a professional agency, after years of training and stage experience, so the teachers at this child's acting school would be the people to ask.
Actors Access isn't going to help at all.

Yes. Don't know where you looked but it took me two seconds to find the information:

If you're planing on helping your child work as an actor you're going to need to know how to research things like this. There are a lot of scams and rip offs out there.
