Why is there one sided spiritual aggression between Buddhism and Christianity?

Korea and Vietnam is all Buddhism and during the two wars they divided into north and south. Many people from around the world mostly from American and Mostly christians went to stop Buddhist from killing each other.
Over some small doctrinal difference. They are even doing that today in Thailand where the fighting never stops. So most Christians are tried of them saying they are peaceful when their record shows they are not.
