Should Western Michigan get a BCS Bowl if they win out?

Not a playoff spot, but a high-dollar new year's day bowl

The highest ranking of the "group of 5" teams gets a spot in the Cotton Bowl. Since Boise St and Houston both lost, I'll bet Western Michigan gets that spot. Though, they have played a pretty weak schedule so I expect them to be blown out in that game.

No, no, and more no.

#1--the BCS is extinct.

#2--strength of schedule matters. There will be zero possibility of Western Michigan getting one of those top 4 let alone top 15 spots. Most of their opponents they played will get annihilated by the power 5.

That said, they'll get a mid-tier bowl.

No.
The level of competition they play is no where near what the top tier teams play.
They will probably get invited to one of the non championship bowl games though.

No, the BCS doesn't exist.

No. Enough said.
