Does this seem like a scam?

A few weeks ago I applied for a job at Amazon for an overnight shift. The application process was easy, do an assessment and get hired. Luckily I got hired and within a few days I went to a job offering event, did a drug test, and that was it. The next week (which was last week), I completed my i-9 form. Now I m still waiting on my orientation, I got an e-mail basically telling me to be patient, but I don t know. Was I scammed?

That's a lot of work for a scam...

They may simply have chosen not to hire you, for whatever reason. Or, they might be taking their time (though, this is their busiest time of the year).

It's possible that you were scammed, but I doubt it since you took a drug test. Scammpers aren't going to go to that length in order to steal your identify - drug tests aren't cheap.

Is there a telephone number for Amazon HR that you can call to follow up?
