How can I sort Excel with 170,000 rows so duplicates are all together or the non-duplicates are hidden?

Is all of your data in a single column, or do the duplicates occur in multiple columns across the rows? Do you actually wish to sort the data after hiding non duplicates?

Work out which columns contain dupiicates, then sort on those columns
