How did the 11th best PG in the game win Eastern Conference Player of the month?

There are atleast 10 PGs in the NBA I would rather have on my Celtics

Averages of 32.9 Points, 6.9 Assists on 50/43/94 shooting in January only led the Celtics to a 10-4 record and 2nd place in the East. That's because he is the worst defensive PG in the NBA as proven by the glorious stat Real Defensive Plus Minus. I wish the NBA had looked at that stat before handing out this award.

Thomas is better than the 11th best PG. I hate the Celtics to death and Bill Russell is a child molester but Isaiah is not the 11th best PG.

Jacob Prime doesn't know basketball, so don't bother.

The PG is the least of their worries but no team ever went very far with a PG as their top scorer. Ask Allen Iverson how that worked out?

Lol, you got issues man. You remind me of the people that started calling Paul George a top 3 player because he got hot last season, but they ignored his vast drop in defensive effort (Jae Crowder got robbed for All Defense), and over valued specific stats that don't really mean much

Just to clear something up, I don't think I ever said he definitely wasn't top 10. My stance, at least right now, is that he's not a star, but is still an above average starting PG, which automatically puts him no higher than 7th (there are at least 6 PGs I'd classify as "stars" right now above IT), but no lower than 15th. He could be top 10, I don't really care because 10 is a dumb arbitrary number that doesn't mean anything, he could not, I don't care enough in the regular season to rank within tiers.

Oh, and he's not the worst defensive point guard, he's my pick for worst defender in the league.
