014 (part 1 of 2) 1.0 points A piece of copper alloy with a mass of 63.0 g is?

heated from 30.0◦C to 43.0◦C. In the process,
it absorbs 435 J of energy as heat. What is
the specific heat of this copper alloy?
Answer in units of J/g · K.

it is cooled from 43.0◦
to 30.0◦C ?
Answer in units of J.

These questions use the same equation as the water one:
q = m c (T2-T1) where
q is the heat or energy gained or lost
m is the mass of the sample
c is the specific heat in J/gC
T2 is the final temperature and
T1 is the initial temperature
Just plug in the information you are given and solve the equation for what you are trying to find.
(Note: since a change of 1 K = 1 degree C, the specific heat in J/gC or J/gK is the same thing)
