Memory sticks are still available but very hard to find.

No. Buying a camera to fit a card is not the way to do things. Everything now uses SD cards, which are dirt cheap because of it. 64Gb for $20 or so.
You may still find a Sony DSLR that has a slot for your card... but it will also have either an SD or CF slot as well, making the MS card redundant.
