Need help with earbuds?

So I am a music addit and love to listen to music all the time. But sometimes, one side of the earbuds die out, I can't hear anything. It's usually where the buttons are. So why does this happen and how do you prevent this?

Dirt in the socket - so one h band (look at the plug) does not make a good connection for that side of the stereo. Clean the socket with a pipe cleaner and some Windex - VERY VERY little, only on the pipe cleaner.

Cheap gadgets and overhyped & overpriced fashion toys (Bose, Beats!) just tend to break like that!

Learn to rely ONLY on REPUTABLE manufacturers such as Sennheiser, Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Bowers & Wilkins, Bang & Olufsen, Etymotic, Beyerdynamic, Audio-Technica.

Then again, as NOTHING is unbreakable, you NEED to learn to take a GOOD care of your audio gear as well!

Maintenance tips:

Buy yourself a protective carrying case/pouch and put your audio gear in there whenever not in use
Always unplug your listening device whenever NOT in use
Do NOT wrap the cord around ANYTHING, do NOT let the cord become tangled!
Do NOT jerk your head too much while listening to the music
Do NOT pull from the cord, pull from the plug
Do NOT drop your audio device
Do NOT fall asleep with the earbuds on!
If using in-ear earbuds, please keep the plugs as clean as possible by using DRY lint-free cloth or DRY Q-tip or swab. Do NOT use any alcohol-based cleaning detergents!
