That may happen to those who reach Senior Citizen status with no skills and who failed to build a career with a solid company that provides benefits . . . . or to be a professional who hasn't saved sufficient funds to be able to pay their own way. Those truly unable to provide for themselves are taken care-of by the safety net. Layabouts, job-hoppers, whiners, complainers, those with unbridled instant gratification: tough luck. . . . why should you think you are worth more when you're old than you were when you were young? In reality, most will be in jail with better health care than those who pay.
