Boyfriend hung up on me?

Me and my boyfriend thats been together for a year decided to take a break. Yesterday we was on the phone and he said something I didn't like , he said "Yeah I needed a break from you" and I went crazy and said somethings I shouldn't have. And I called him back to talk to him because he was like my best friend and I needed him at the moment. He didn't answer the first time so I called back and he answered and as I was talking to him he was quiet and he said "you said all that crazy stuff and called me like nothing happened." I said that I was mad at the moment and he said "you must be dumb" I said "no why would you say that?" And he said "you must be dumb if you think I'm going to be on the phone with you after you said all that crazy deep stuff" and he hung up. Then I texted him saying how that hurted my feelings and that by him hanging up in my face was a message not to call him no more and bye. He never texted me back. Is everything completely over? Because I miss him so much my phone is currently off today ):

Don't take this personally, but both of you are immature and need to part ways to do some growing up on your own. Your boyfriend is insensitive to say "Yeah I needed a break from you" -- as if he's laying all the blame on you, without him taking any accountability.

What is evident here is that both of you are too focused on the your own urgent needs (you on yours, him on his), instead of thinking objectively about how to respect the other person and make that person happy.

Break up with him. Work on yourself. Find a better guy who wants to see you happy.

I sound like you both need to take break. This means no contact what so ever for a few days, few weeks or what ever amount of time you decide on. No one can tell you if it is completely over because no one can tell the future. Just use this time to cool off and learn from the mistakes you both made.

No offense, but you two sound very dysfunctional and immature.  I'd say this relationship is over.  Also, him resorting to name-calling is uncalled for and inappropriate.

Block him from your phone and social media, and move on.  You'll be better for it.

"Then I texted him saying how that hurted my feelings."   btw- "hurted" is not a word.  "that hurt my feelings" is the correct grammar.
Stay in school please.
