what influences your child in making their holy communion?
Im doing a project on the importance of sacraments and I m wondering why a child feels they should make their holy communion. is it their own understanding or is it their school/preers/parents/teachers/ town ect?

A proper Christian upbringing and education.
A child depends upon their parents until said child reaches the age of decision
Then when the child reaches that age its salvation is its own concern.
And that is when child is able to partake the ordinance of communion.
Its their idiot parents doing all that. Poor kids don't have a chance...my parents tried that with me enrolled me in a catholic school of BS and I spit out the wafer the priest fed me and ran out of there. I begged my parents to get me the heck out of that sick and ridiculous environment...luckily we moved and i didnt have to go through that mental abuse. Importance of sacraments? What a joke especially since the same priest feeding your kid communion is probably serving his penis as.well. sick!!!!! Just sick!!!
Children usually want to do what their friends are doing. If they are in a private school that teaches religious practices, they will generally all make their first communion together. In some families, such practices are considered a normal part of life and it is taken as a matter of course, like starting school. If they are in a church that does not consider communion holy or a sacrament, it really does not matter.
