How do I scan QR codes on Android?

I'm trying to scan a QR code on my Andriod phone using an app that is telling me to scan a code. This is my first time doing it. Could anyone please tell me how? Thanks!

Install a scanner app such as i-nigma

That app will automatically open the camera and show a square frame; just point the camera at the QR code and position the phone so the code approximately fills the frame and it should read it.

Other apps may need you to hit a camera or scan button, to bring up the camera preview so you can align the code on screen.

I've had good luck with Norton Snap:

Use a QR scan app. There's a bunch on Google Play.

Google Goggles or any number of QR scanner apps.
