Rock & Pop: What are songs that never fail to take your breath away?

Rock & Pop, what songs do you want to share with me, that always make you go "wow"? I want to hear songs that have blissful instrumentation, with compositions that make you feel like you're floating away somewhere. Here are some songs that I'd like to share:

Ride - "Like a Daydream"

Slowdive - "She Calls"

Animal Collective - "Bluish"

BQ: When it comes to music, which component is more important for you, and why: melody, or noise.
BQ2: Do you see any similarities, between Animal Collective & The Flaming Lips?
BQ3: When it comes to the 80s alternative/indie scene, Husker Du & The Replacements are compared to each other frequently. What is your take on this?
BQ4: What are your thoughts on how post-rock incorporates elements of jazz, ambient music & experimental rock?

To name a few

Rockwise:

The Jimi Hendrix Experience - 1983... (A Merman I Should Turn to Be)/Moon, Turn the Tides...Gently Gently Away
Thin Lizzy - Vagabond of the Western World
The Doors - When the Music's Over
Free - Fire And Water
Megadeth - Hangar 18
Symphony X - The Odyssey

And non-rock wise:

Clannad - Croí Cróga

Two Steps From Hell - Flight Of The Silverbird
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-Dh3ftkRAs
Immediate Music- Serenata Immortale

Audiomachine - Guardians at the Gate

Gladiator - Now We Are Free

BQ1: Melody man, a song can be raining decibels till the cows come home, but without melody or any structure it's just random notes aggravating the eardrums and cerebellum.
BQ2: A bit, but not an awful lot tbh.
BQ3: Bit of an odd comparison but then again they were out around the same time and both were from Minnesota. So it's not too big of a surprise.
BQ4: Sure why not?
