Nervous Sensation/Butterflies in Chest Feeling.. Anxiety or something else?

For the past few days I have what is a very mild, subtle nervous type feeling in my chest. Kinda like butterflys but in my chest.

I have not had any other symptoms (breathing is fine, etc) And I am wondering if this is some sort of anxiety symptom?

I am a pretty anxious person and would say I do have anxiety and and over worry about things in general.

Has anyone else dealt with this? I feel mostly fine during the day but at night when im by myself relaxing is probably when I feel it the most. I keep checking my pulse and stuff and my BPM is "normal" from what I google. I go to the gym regularly and have not had any difficult working out.

Any responses from anyone with experience would be helpful.

I also have acid reflux sometimes. Im picking up some Prilosec this afternoon to see if this helps but not sure if GERD can cause anxiety like symptoms. im 34, male- have some weight to lose but live active, and try and make the best food choices possible.

You could be anxious *about* the GERD. If it continues, check in with your regular doctor to rule out heart problems and other disorders.

If this is truly atypical I would visit a doctor as this can be a symptom of some true medical problems.
