Blood Pressure good (122/74) But my EKG was "Borderline Abnormal" , Help!?
For the past several days I have what I felt were anxiety/nervousness/subtle adrenaline type feeling, kind of like butterflys but in my chest. No chest paint what so ever, even when during exercise I feel fine.
I have been feeling better/normal the past 2 days and thought I would go by an urgent care to finally put my mind at ease and pin point that I have been dealing with anxiety and need to calm myself down.
They checked my breathing, blood pressure (122/74) which they said was good, and they drew blood. They performed an EKG and my results came back as "borderline abnormal" and this has now sent my anxiety through the roof! She said nothing indicates this is a medical emergency but suggested I set an appointment with a Cardiologist. I go tomorrow at 10:45 AM but this is going to be a long 17 hours with my mind racing.
My bpm on my EKG report said 58 BPM and I think this is what raised concern to the urgent care doctor to have a cardiologist have a second look.
I'm a 34 year old male, have some weight to lose but generally feel healthy for the most part.
Should I be worried about this? What throws me off is my blood pressure was great, but the EKG printed result says "borderline abnormal" any help would be appreciated I am nervous and anxious right now.
