Humane euthanasia administered by a qualified Veterinarian. That and nothing else.

There is a proper technique, and you don't know it. Unless you intend on eating rabbit, it is just plain wrong to even think about killing animals.
I doubt you are going hungry, and guess you wouldn't know how to skin and prepare a rabbit.
I haven't killed a rabbit other than accident in over 40 years.
