What happened with the dorky photographer guy in 13 Reasons Why?

The last episode showed him stockpiling guns and ammunition, but nothing went beyond that. I thought for sure they'd show him shooting up the school...especially when they showed all those photos he'd taken of his classmates. Does anyone have any ideas?

There will be a season 2 so maybe we will know in Season 2 if they go the school shooting/Alex's suicide route

Why the **** would they show that? There's also a Season 2 coming, for some stupid reason. Maybe they'll explain more then.
