Why does Windows call the delete app on the desktop the recycle bin?

It doesn't actually call it recycle bin but instead asks you whether you are sure you want to send an item to the recycle bin when you delete it. It is just a security measure so that when you delete files subconsciously you can always restore them. Just open the recycle bin, right click on the deleted item and select restore and it will be restored to its original location. If you delete it from the recycle bin or you empty the recycle bin then it will be deleted for good.

Because instead of deleting the electrons, it recycles them. By the way, it does not "shred" the files; they can be undeleted.

Hi so like most of these issues it is about having new staff who think we we need a different name for what most of would call the Trash.
