First time from florida doing new jersey emissions inspection?

I just moved from florida and going to go for a new jersey emissions inspections can someone tell me what they look for someone at a shop told me I would fail because of an off road exhaust and just because thebexhaist is working fine doesnt mean I'll pass can someone please explain how nj inspection works thanks

It's an ENGINE EMISSIONS inspection and if your "off road exhaust" includes removing the catalytic converters, then YES... Your car WILL fail the inspection. Plan on installing a complete brand new factory original exhaust system.

You can wait 60 days after moving to New Jersey, OR wait until your Florida registration expires. So you do not need to transfer your registration until 60 days after moving to Jersey or until your Florida registration expires. So you might have some time before you need to transfer your registration to Jersey and be required to do the emissions test.
