Does michaels have a good fabric selection?

Im thinking about making a denim jacket/dress thingy and I have a lot of Michaels gift cards that I never use. Instead of going to a fabric store like Joann I wanted to use my cards. Do they have a good enough selection to use for sewing?

They do not sell fabric.  You can pick up good cutting shears or a rotary cutter and mat.

They don't have it but have some thread, buttons, zippers. There are three in my community and no fabric.
