"Do you think casting biological women to play transgender women in films"
The practice is called transface and YES, it is a problem.

It's a problem because there are plenty of trans actors and actresses, but they aren't getting hired.
This is an example of hypocrisy in Hollywood. They claim to support trans people, but won't hire trans people.

Trans women are biological women, they are women, their biology is therefore a woman's biology. If you mean women who are not trans, the term for this is cisgender women.
Cisgender women playing trans women characters is better than cisgender men doing it, because at least they're the right gender and not sending the message that trans women are basically men. However trans women actresses are given so few roles and face a lot of stigma, and trans people only very rarely get to see trans people on tv, so the few roles for trans characters should be given to trans people.

Tranny folk pay attention to every aspect of what it means to be a real woman, in an attempt to "pass". And so, they will take not of how she walks, talks, laughs, smiles, cries, breathes,... everything. A tranny may be able to do many of these things in very feminine way. But, theres no getting rid of those man hands. The trannies watching the female actor will be overcome with jealousy, when it comes to her perfectly natural feminine nature.

I think it's wrong. You wouldn't cast a white man to play MLK, or a black man to play Abraham Lincoln would you? If the character is a trans woman a trans woman should play that role.
