My trunk won't close tight how do I fix it?
What's wrong I used to have to slam it down otherwise it wouldn't close and now when I closed it today it won't close completely what is the problem and do you think you know?

The latch is usually adjustable.

Spray down the latch mechanism with penetrating oil.
Work the latch a dozen times using a screwdriver. Then you may need to adjust the latch.

As I said in your other question, the pull down motor on the trunk (designed to pull the trunk closed) has failed. Replace the motor and the trunk will work like it is supposed to. This assumes that the battery has power. If the battery is dead, charge it or put on jumper cables and close the trunk The trunk needs power to the pull down motor
John
You've got too much stuff in the trunk. Duh.

The latch is broken from someone slamming it. If you are lucky you may be able to adjust it, if you are unlucky you will need to replace the latch mechanism.
