Factor the polynomial. −6^5y^5+18x^5y^4z^5-10x^2z^2 (^ to the power) I got -2x^2x(3x^3y^5-9x^3y^4z^5+5z^5)?

−6^5y^5+18x^5y^4z^5-10x^2z^2
= -2 (-9 x^5 y^4 z^5 + 5 x^2 z^2 + 3888 y^5)
= -2x^2x(3x^3y^5-9x^3y^4z^5+5z^5... )/x^2x

Assuming you meant to write :
− 6 x^5 y^5 + 18 x^5 y^4 z^5 - 10 x^2 z^2
= -2x^2(3x^3y^5 - 9x^3y^4z^5 + 5z^2)

Assuming you meant to write :

− 6 x^5 y^5 + 18 x^5 y^4 z^5 - 10 x^2 z^2

= -2 x^2 (3 x^3 y^5 - 9 x^3 y^4 z^5 + 5 z^2)

you did an excellent job.

The first term does not have a factor of x^2, so your factorization does not work. The best you can do is factor out -2.
.. = -2(3888y^5 +5x^2z^2 -9x^5y^4z^5)

yours is not valid....no x² in every term ( as typed )
