I managed to hurt my spine by incorrectly wearing a water pump on my back (the pump was hitting against a spine segment that peeked out from the other segments). That part of the spine hurts now. My Doctor prescribed me Zoloft (sertralin, antidepressant) and Apaurin (diazepam).
How are those supposed to help my spine?

No. Zoloft (the antidepressant) is used to treat Depression and the Valium (Diazepam) is used to treat Anxiety and Muscle Spasms, so neither one will help heal your spine. The Diazepam may provide a little relief but will still not help heal your Spine Pain. What kind of Dr. prescribed these medications for you? Go to your search bar and type in Zoloft and do the same for Diazepam and there is a lot of information about each drug. The only thing that may help ease the spine pain but not heal your spine, is a Pain Reliever, which your Dr. did not prescribe.
WOW! Find a new doctor, a competent one this time.
