+80% of Japanese are atheists. Almost all the rest are Shinto, almost all in the country.

They don't hate religion because Shintos don't annoy them by trying get legislation to support religion or try to evangelize them. That +80% rarely even think about religion.

Only Muslims for most. They can not emigrate there. But can visit or work there short term. They are for most Shintoism in faith. There are a few Christian Church's there.
