Do soldiers go to heaven?
Like, if a soldier dies in war does he automatically go to heaven regardless of anything he has done in his life, does he get like 'bonus points' that add to the consideration, or is he regarded and treated like anybody?

All faithful Christians, even servants of God (e.g. soldiers; Rom 13:4) will go to heaven.

No one "automatically" goes to heaven.

Some of them will go to West Virginia, which John Denver described as "almost heaven."

No he doesn't, the bible clearly shows murder is a sin and being a soldier is not what God wants us to do.
Religious leaders and politicians use religion to get fodder for their many wars. Only to find out later the did it to get rich and powerful. My cousin went to Vietnam and fought and died over there. For what? We are now learning it was all a hoax. The political leaders needed a war to sell war stuff. So do not go there thinking this is what God wants you to do. He doesn't and he does not reward people to kill other people. Read Genesis about the flood of Noah's day, why did he cause the flood to destroy a world full of people?(Genesis 6:11) 11 But the earth had become ruined in the sight of the true God, and the earth was filled with violence.

Entrance into heaven is predicated on the basis of whether one has placed their faith in Jesus Christ, it has nothing to do with occupation.
