Consequences for Dropping Out of Highschool While Under the Minimum Age?
I know that it’s illegal to drop out at 16, and that it’s really not a good idea, but I just wanting to understand my options and all the consequences of them. So what is the punishment if I decide to just stop going to school?

The consequences will be that you would soon find out just how much it takes to live- and that there is no earthly way of earning that kind of money with a teenager's job. A lot of people decide they want to leave school, only to find out how hard it is to catch up when they want to get their GED - and that just gets you to the level of high school. Really, you need more education than that - the more you have, the higher your income, and the easier your life.
Please, stay in school, for as long as you possibly can. If you are having issues at home, ask your guidance counselor for help. If you are having issues at school, ask your parents to help. If you are struggling with schoolwork, ask to get a tutor.
Yes, you may feel asif you are mature enough to handle life now- but the fact is, you aren't old enough to sign a contract, so there is a lot of work you won't be able to do. And there is a lot more education you should have before going out into the work world. Give yourself the options you truly deserve, and if you're having trouble with that, ask for helping in solving those problems. leaving school just deprives you of most of your future, which you will never make up, no matter how hard you try. If you just stop going, you'll be put in juvenile detention, and your parents could actually be charged with a crime.
Forget the punishment. You will be stuck in minimum wage jobs for the rest of your life. You will soon see that it is critical to have that diploma and without it, after you are 18, you will may have to pay for the education out of your own pocket and it is surprisingly expensive.
you wont get any scholarships if you want to get more education. youll be a companies last resort unless you get a ton of other training, and itll be harder to get anything that's government funded or loans.
Your parents will be dragged into court and you'll have a problem getting a job anywhere other than at McD's or emptying cans with the local trash crew.
