Thawed frozen vegetables?

On Tuesday I went to the grocery store and bought two bags of frozen vegetables (green beans and peas) and a two bottles of wine. As it was well below freezing that day and would be overnight, I left the vegetables in the trunk do i could temporarily have the freezer space to chill the wine for dinner. Unfortunately, I have forgotten about them and it has been in the 40s and 50s. I know the texture will be compromised, as I have put frozen vegetables in the fridge in the past either accidentally or deliberately to thaw. However, after three days and extreme temperature changes, are they still edible?

I doubt they would have spoiled, but they are probably going to be mushy.

Sorry but no one can tell without actually looking at them. Why not open the package and see for yourself?

Yes, you should be fine. Some vegetables like onion and celery are easily salvageable. Make sure you trim off the discolored portions and soak your vegetables for 10-15 minutes in ice water to refresh them.

Maybe for a pig or a goat, but human stomachs are more sensitive to rotten stuff and could possible make you sick. You may want to sanitize them if you do plan on eating them snywats
