My Honda TRX250R quad has o-ring seals between the petcock  and tank that need to be replaced every few years.

If there's a crack in the tank, you may be able to buy a new one on Amazon.com.

Wrap the petcock with teflon tape before you put it in. wrap it in the direction of the threads.
