Should I clean my room like Jordan Peterson says? When my parents asked me to, it seemed boring. But this guy seems to make sense?

Your room should be a reflection of yourself.
If you're in your own house and you want people to think that you're a dirty, untidy, smelly slob, don't clean it.

But if it's your parents' house, you should do as they ask. They pay the bills and obviously they want to keep the house in a good, clean, healthy state. Of course it's boring - but as you grow up, you've find that you have to do a lot of boring things....Show more

IF you were a parent; would you want your kids obeying you or Not?
You could work each day to make sure not one piece of paper falls to the floor (if dose pick it up.), shoes off at entrance so dirt will not be tracked in, maybe have tape behind you everywhere you walk,... to pick up all dirt and dust, so your room may not need cleaning just once a week. Yet may get dirty anyway!...Show more
