I think Paul Joseph Watson is right. The mainstream media really needs to stop publicising these mass murdering scumbags and giving them the attention and notoriety they so obviously crave.
The media should have a blackout on the personal information of the perpetrator and instead focus on the victims who have been slaughtered. These scum carry out shootings so they can become infamous. They know their faces and names will be plastered all over the media and so will their kill tally, they know there will be documentaries made and books written about them.
It won't prevent details of the perpetrator getting out and being known on the internet, but it will heavily limit their exposure. I'm for freedom of expression and freedom of the press, but I really wonder if this kind of thing should be the exception to the rule, just like military and police operations are. Saving children's lives is a lot more important than placating the morbid curiosity of the public.
As for gun control, the genie is out of the bottle in America.

Also, do keep in mind that PROGRESS IS A GOOD THING. So if you were attempting to scold the left for condoning progress, you are a severely misguided individual.
Last but not least, I'd glad you picked the answer you did because there HAS to be more of a focus on stopping these shootings and helping the victims' families as opposed to ridiculously insulting posts like yours that immediately go after a political group. It makes NO sense whatsoever. If you were sincerely troubled by this situation, you would - at the very least - send supportive letters to those affected by this tragedy, or perhaps help them in other ways. This little rant of yours is not doing anything but USING this situation as a platform to voice your unfounded and quite frankly ASININE point of view.
