LG g4 phone fun screen keeps turning on.?

There's a gear icon on the screen and I keep turning it off but then it shows up after a week or two. Is there a way to delete it on my phone or is this a Trojan or virus and I'm unaware of making things worse?

The touch screen is too sensitive and detect a spurious double-tap-to-wake. It probably also detects spurious touches when you're using it (which then causes scrolling like crazy, starting random apps, etc.). You can activate the debug touch option to see it.or factory reset
