What does it mean if I have been getting muscle cramps at various parts of my body lately?

I have been getting muscle cramps at my legs and stomach area lately in the morning where I would usually be asleep. I have been drinking plenty of fluids and urinating frequently so it can't be due to low electrolytes or fluids.

I have been drinking plenty of fluids and urinating frequently before these cramps happened.

It means that it might be time for you to consult a doctor. Nobody can give a 100% diagnosis of symptoms at long distance.

You might be in need of a particular mineral or vitamin, so google symptoms of mineral deficiency and see what comes up.

"Fluids" and "water" are not the same thing and they don't serve the same purpose. The body was designed to function on water - and there are no substitutes. Other beverages are toxic-to-the-body and have a diuretic effect - they pull water out of the body. This is the reason for the frequent urination. They're pulling water out and your dehydration worsens because you're not replacing the water as you should.

In addition, you need salt, as well. Yes, it is an electrolyte imbalance. Salt holds water in the cells. When you urinate, you're not only losing water but a lot of salt as well.

Increase both your water and salt intake and the problem should go away.

It could be any number of things. Neurological trauma, a brain tumor, dehydration or a potassium deficiency which causes a lactic acid buildup.

See your doctor.
