No, it was terrible. Most major big-budget productions that are released today are specifically tailored for foreign markets. Superhero films that feature fantastical beings can easily transcend cultural barriers because the filmmakers can make the dialogue tired and staid, generic and simplistic which benefits people who don't speak English and have no knowledge of Western, or particularly American culture, because they're jam packed with low-brow jokes and mindless action. None of the Avengers films will ever be compared favourably with serious films, and I'm not approaching this from the angle of some film snob either. I thought that the "Captain America" movies were decent and the first "Iron Man" was also quite good, I thought that the "Thor" movies were weak in comparison and the "Hulk" films have just been a dumpster fire, but "Black Panther" was also quite enjoyable and well done. "Infinity War" was way too long - they easily could have shaved 45 minutes off the running time. The villain is far too over the top, the jokes were weak and ill-timed and far too frequent. I personally wasn't impressed with the film at all.
