I want to start preparing for my college auditions. I am an incoming junior so I have about a year and a half and would like to try out some new songs since I have a lot of time to work on them. I am a soprano and can sing to a D6, but I can sing alto if necessary. Here are the songs I need: 2 Musical Theatre Ballads 2 Musical Theatre Uptempo 2 Art/Folk songs or arias 1 Rock/pop song (would prefer one from a musical, like Rent but not so well known) Thank you so much!

Musical theater ballads: 'Somewhere That's Green' from "Little shop of Horrors" (This is a great piece, listen to the woman who does it in the movie, she sets the bar.) 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' from The Wizard of Oz (Good for middle range and character creation. Excellent for emotional references. )
Musical Theater Uptempo: 'Im just a girl who can't say no from "Oklahoma". Great for both uptempo and character creation in voice. 'Promises Promises" from the musical "Promises Promises" Great uptempo, good for enunciation and characterization.
Art Song or Aria: Oh Promise Me - Dekoven & Scott.1890 Well known for sopranos and for showing off upper register. Casta diva from Norma by Bellini This is a great aria, and many sopranos list it in their top 10 arias to sing.
Rock Song: Rock Opera: 'I don't know how to love him" from Jesus Christ Superstar. You really want to rock out? "I love rock and Roll" Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.
