Ask the vet that ordered the x-rays or get a second opinion from another vet. No vet would risk losing their license to practice by guessing on line on any dog, that hasn't been examined by them or without a past medical history, on a random x-ray posted on line.

There are no vets on here. Your dogs xray doesn't look bloated... A bloated dog would have a stomach full of gas..
Heres an xray of a bloated dog for comparison..

Did your vet run any bloodwork?

I would pull a toxicology and see. Fromm what I do know about x rays, this one is what they call in the medical world, unremarkable. Heart is normal size, intestines look normal, although there isn't much poop or gas in there. But I don't see any obvious tumors and it looks....well.... unremarkable. Is this a Dachshund or Basset Hound by any chance?

A chemical ingested by your dog would not show up on x-rays. It is very possible your dog ate something that hurts that is a chemical, such as an insect poison or weed control chemical someone sprayed on their lawn, and your dog walked in the wet grass and licked it off its foot and is now sick from the small bit of poison chemical. The only thing to do is watch the dog overnight and make sure it drinks plenty of water. Do not offer it any food, just water. Be on watch for signs of distress such as whining, shaking, or sudden fever. Most dogs empty out a stomach by throwing up, but don't let it lick up its vomit again, clean it up as soon as possible and offer it water for the next 24 hours. If it wakes up tomorrow just fine with no signs of distress, offer it plain chicken or beef broth and water for another 12 hours, and again look for sudden fever or signs of distress. If it just wants to sleep, let it sleep. In about 48 hours, you can try feeding it some broth mixed with about 1/4 cup canned dog food, and then feed it this mixture until the can is emptied, every 8 hours. In about 3 days your dog should show signs of recovery. Again, if your dog starts shaking, whining and shaking, or has a sudden fever, that is the time to call the emergency vet. I hope this helps and your dog gets better soon.
